The IDS Mobipig

The Mobipig is a patented, portable house for first stage pigs.  It comes complete with an insulated stainless steel base.  Internally, walls up to 1.2m high are faced with stainless steel for durability and hygiene. The unit is available in a range of different sizes - all 5m wide by between 5m and 15m long.

It is generally accepted that piglets who thrive during the post weaning stage will do well all the way to slaughter.

The IDS Mobipig guarantees such an environment from the first day of weaning.  Ventilation, temperature and humidity control ensure an ideal environment for growth, while PVC slats ensure comfort. 

Great attention to detail during the development of the Mobipig has resulted in a building that has no equal.  The base is made entirely of stainless steel and is insulated and lined with butyl rubber.  The walls are made of sandwich panels which are pumped with 80mm of high density polyurethane.  The panel skins are either stainless steel (up to pig level - 1.2m) or of Plastisol covered steel.
